Dear Goddess, How do I create my own reality? How do you create your own reality? How can I change my life if I perceive it needs to be changed? The simple answer is: Breathe! Breathe, You Are Alive! says the spiritual teacher Thich Nhat Hanh.
This is why daily exercise is so beautiful. It tunes us into the experience of deep breathing. For instance, today I ran 2 miles with Pearlie. After this experience, not only did I feel more optimistically in tune, but was able to follow the deep breathing that stemmed from the exercise itself. Exercise allows us to feel grounded, so that as strength is developed, we are more relaxed, we sleep better, we suddenly feel drawn to healthy foods and we drink more water.
Eradicating emotional disturbances requires a balance between the physical and the spiritual. We need to develop inner security so that when emotional earthquakes arise, we are able to move gracefully through them, and detach when the moment is right to do so. All of our experiences are Blessings. Trust the flow. The flow happens whether you go with it or against it. So choose to go with it. Drop the need to find explanations for everything that happens. And go for higher ground.
This is my Prayer Prescription for today.
