Seasonal changes are pronounced here in Central Pennsylvania where I live. Historically, Autumn is the season of death and spring is the season of rebirth. I am always amazed how in the dead of winter little buds are peeking through the ever-changing’s lifecycle of a tree.
When the sun returns on December 21 the beginning of winter is upon us. You can feel the days getting longer almost immediately.
As the days grow shorter starting June 21, and the days get hotter and hotter, it feels like mother Earth is doing a balancing act with our psyches.
Mother Earth and mother nature are the greatest teachers about lifecycle, birth, death and renewal.
Our prayer prescription today is to pause and reflect on how these life cycle affect us now, tomorrow and forever. Om Peace Amen
