I do not hold Rhonda Byrne and the Hicks to very high regard. It was too funny to see them at each other's throats over the DVD (the Secret)... "When the God wish to Punish us they Answer our Prayers" quote from Oscar Wilde The perpetrators of these books and DVD's (like the Secret) other snake oil salesmen, tell you that you "must change your thinking", with this one concept and they manage to write SEVERAL, 200+ page books. Nothing else...and people are gullible enough to buy these books because someone actually published them. It is rather hard to think positively when you are down and out like so many people today, but the secret is; the inner belief and acceptance of the words of Jeshua; "your needs will be met", aspire for more and wish for greater things, and you just set yourself up for disillusionment. Relax, let go,let god...The problem is everyone reading these books want to be rich, stop working etc and just have the Cosmos dole out money. Do you really believe that this is how this works? Try some positive visualization for OTHER PEOPLE and suddenly you will experience a miracle. It will work then. Then you'd slowly wake up and realize the pearl I cast in front of you..."The takers will fall on hard times now on then, but the givers will keep on giving". Let me tell you my experience with this.
