“Prayers To Heal: Waking Up The Mystical Divine”, Is Now Part Of Field Of Infinite Possibilities

Published by under Uncategorized

Dear God/ess, This morning, at 0122, I sent off the proposal for Prayers To Heal: Waking Up The Mystical Divine. I was listening to Christine Kloser’s latest class in her Transformational Author Experience series. I was glad I did, because I added a few of her suggestions!

Then I read the whole proposal out loud. What a powerful experience! I heard things differently than if I had read it to myself.

The most remarkable experience of reading the proposal aloud was watching Ulysses The Dog’s reaction as I read it. He sighed, groaned and panted, as if letting me know he was with me in the process. As I read the parts about him, he stared ahead, as if in a trance.

Finally, he laid down and rested soundly.

Later after reading and sending the proposal, we had a breakfast for friends, and played music. My violin E string broke, so played the Harmonica, instead, and the drums.

Life offers creative potential in every moment. Let us remember that when an E string breaks, or the artist brush cracks, or a supper dish seemingly flops in the making, we can think of another avenue for expression.

We can allow the expression to lead us Home.

Om Peace Amen

It’s Time To Take Hold Of the Transformation Potential That All Of Us Have In Our Lives

Published by under Uncategorized

Dear God/ess, I just came back from a swim in the river, also bathed from above by a light rain. Thankfully we are getting a much needed gentle prolonged shower. Negative ions are not only released by the river herself, but also by the rain. So I feel refreshed and deeply relaxed as we snuggle in for the evening ahead.

I prefer to remain in the beautiful vibrations of nature and the river. Add to this Ulysses, The Dog as he stares meditatively at the rocks on the river floor.

The reality of the world and all the trouble wrought by human ignorance is no longer interesting to me.

It is time to take hold of the transformation potential that all of us have in our lives. We all have a responsibility to be part of the solution, not the sorrow and the suffering.

Even as we engage in 6 wars, even as the American Corporations take away our individual freedoms and even as we feel less and less able to do any thing about these tragedies, we must affiliate ourselves with energies that rise the vibrations of the Planet. We must look deeply within our selves at every moment of every day, and honestly take responsibility for the trials of our times.

We must meditate, contemplate and remain quiet.

This time next year will reveal an entirely different consciousness.

On Peace Amen

Imprisoning An Amish Farmer For Selling Raw Milk? REALLY??

Published by under Uncategorized

Dear God/ess, I spent the morning cutting off flowers from the beautiful and healing Holy Basil plants, and pulling the weeds out around them. We must start drinking Holy Basil Tea every day.

I am drying Stinging Nettle at the moment. We have plenty of it growing around the property. I plan to use the dry plant and crumble it into Ulysses The Dog’s Nupro Gravy. This addition to his diet will further his anti-cancer regimen.

Recently, I received 2 full bottles of MMS from folks who bought a supply, and decided they did not want it, after all! So Ulysses and I are well supplied with MMS. Put that in your pipe and smoke it, FDA. (The FDA wants to outlaw MMS, Vitamins and every other Cancer Cure. What this will do is create a thriving Black Market for all Cancer Cures, Vitamins and Holy Basil!)

A Pennsylvania Amish man was recently put in prison by the FDA for selling raw milk.

Frankly, the Medical Gestapo in the form of FDA and other Federal regulatory commissions are idiotic and absurd. This was the topic of my radio show last night with Heather Burns. Amy Flynn joined us the second half of the program.

We need to enlighten the public about these situations, which are censured in the Corporate Media.

Imprisoning an Amish Farmer? Really? This is a sad commentary on where America is heading.

May as well add raw milk to the Black Market. Then we will be able to drink as much as we want.

The Morning Sounds Of Summer

Published by under Uncategorized

Dear God/ess, In the early morning, as night receives the first golden rays of the sun, night sounds fade to morning sounds, and the birds begin to communicate and sing loudly. We have a Cardinal who especially wants to be heard. And we hear and bless her!

Crickets still serenade the day light but are joined by the cicada, another beautiful sound, acting as a lullaby to the inner soul.

Osprey have joins the chorus, and today is the first day I heard them. They arrive this time every year.

For the last several weeks, I take a daily swim in the river that flows by our home. The Conestoga River. These swims are an exercise in blending with cloud, sun, heron, and green leaf.

Swimming against the current is cool and refreshing as well as a fantastic workout. Then, drifting back to Ulysses The Dog who waits patiently, is an exercise in surrender, allowing the cycles of life teach lessons of loosening control we think we need to have.

Next week I will be attending an Internet call called “How to be Lazy and Successful.” This is what a hazy,
lazy summer day reminds me of: taking naps, staying up later because of the nap, learning to rest, learning to listen and trust the signals sent by the physical body.

Here are a few more: resting upon a hammock in the middle of the day; eating homemade ice-cream; letting Ulysses have s few licks, too; eating fresh fruit directly from the Vine; eating fresh corn on the cob; eating
fresh tomatoes as soon as they ripen.

Summer time is when the living is easy. Let us remember ease and play throughout the rest of the year, too!

The Night Sounds Of Summer

Published by under Uncategorized

Dear God/ess, Thank you for another beginning of a beautiful week. Summer is a glorious but fleeting time that when we slow down and drift upon the river currents and allow the laziness of a summer day penetrate our deepest psyche, we are renewed. Memories fade into the present moment where no memory exists.

The summer night, although much shorter than the summer’s day, is alive with sounds that are deeply ingrained in cellular memory. The Katy-Dids, the tree frogs and the night owls, which remind me of occult knowledge, all give rise to eternal nudges of the soul.

I just got out of work early (1am) and now have an extra night to revel in these sounds. Air conditioning is not my thing. I sleep out on the sunporch to be aware of all that surrounds us in the night.

As I approach my home, I catch a glimpse of the waning crescent moon upon the horizon. A red crescent moon. Is that red star nearby the planet Mars? Are all the stars red, tonight?

The beauty of high summer is remembered tonight and the sounds of summer nights echo out across the River. This is the perfect moment, the perfect summer, the perfect waning moon. It is all here, all now.

Revel in what it means to be SUMMER, today!

Published by under Uncategorized

Dear God/ess, In the sweltering heat on this, the hottest day of the year, we are about to go out and pull weeds. Then I will swim the 1/2 mile up to the rock, and back, in the Conestoga River.
The beauty of the summer includes extreme heat, the humidity of the East Coast, or the dry heat and cold of New England. All of it encompasses the full spectrum of what it is to be summer.

In-Joy it all and revel in every moment of moments. Winter in her extreme conditions is every bit as beautiful as the Summer.

Spring and Fall offer up the contrasts which stir deep emotional experiences.

But today, I weed and play in the river.

With Ulysses, of course!

Saints Save The World!

Dear God/ess, The trip to see Mother Meera yesterday was challenging, because we kept getting lost. So it was truly a contrast of stressful, hot driving lifted by the simple blessing of a living Saint.

There were 300 people there, and we all meditated for the three hours until everyone received their blessing.

As mentioned in yesterday’s prayer, Mother Meera is an incarnation of the Divine Mother in Hindu tradition, and Mother Mary in Christian tradition.

Therefore I was not surprised to feel a profound sense of bouncancy in the physical body, akin to how an astronaut must feel in outer space, as well as a sense of freedom from needing to control outcome of any situation, and a detachment from what anyone else is choosing to do.

The reality of such a person as Mother Meera alive in this world today is an example of a phenomena that David Hawkins MD described in his book, “Power VS Force.”

He said that highly evolved people place a healing balm in the vibrational field in the Universe. People like Mother Meera prevent the destruction of the human race because of their ability to raise the energy from hate, revenge and vengeance to one of Pure Love.

People like Mother Meera also raise the vibrational field of those of us who are in their presence. We are inwardly changed by taking the time to seek them out.

Something within us shifts forever.

We have a responsibility to pass it on.

Sharing Love Through The Eyes Of The Mystical Divine

Published by under Uncategorized

Dear God/ess, Today we go to receive a blessing from Mother Meera, an incarnation of the Divine Mother. I decided to go without researching her or reading anyone elses’ experience.

But when I told my friend Jo-an where we were going to go, she immediately called her friend, Joy, who is a follower of Mother Meera. Jo-an put me on the phone with Joy.

She said,  ”Mother Meera is most famous for wiping out your karma.”

What does that mean? When we look for a full moment into the eyes of the Mother, and in that full moment, all time vanishes, then we truly are swimming in the ecstasy of the Mystical Divine. Karma does not exist simultaneously with the Love that blesses and nurtures and supports. We see finally that in the unity that surpasses all understanding, we are awakening.

Doubtlessly.

Fearlessly.

Patience Is Love In Action

Published by under Uncategorized

Dear God/ess, A radiant red/orange sun welcomes us to our day here in East Coast America! We prepare for a sizzler and plan to keep Ulysses inside when the heat of the day fully arrives.

Today I had a revelation that the whole of life here and in the hereafter is a birth experience. Two steps forward and one step back in all of our affairs.

When a baby is birthing, she/he moves forward two steps and then retreats. We cannot rush Mother Nature. In fact, when we try and rush her, she laughs. And so should we.

Impatience is the way of most people in our culture today.

“I want what I want, and I want it now!”

Control issues and ego are at front and center in all examples of impatience.

Humility is front and center in all examples of patience.

“I relinquish my need to control this situation, person or animal.”

Today’s prayer asks that we become aware of our attitudes today. Are we acting impatiently?

Are we  acting patiently?

Are we motivated from the ego or from a place of humility, which is slow and easy on this hot summer day?

On Peace Amen

Fruits Enhance The Creative Process!

Published by under Uncategorized

Dear God/ess, I am reading Julia Cameron’s book called “The Writing Diet,” since I want to keep up good eating habits and change some of my ingrained habits because food is something that can release or imprison us. So much about food is wrapped up with unconscious beliefs about security and fear.

We can choose to eat well and limit the quantity of the food we eat as well as drink at least eight glasses of water a day.

How do we become conscious? By doing the Morning Pages, of course! And Julia also recommends keeping a journal so that whenever tempted to eat something that the body will eventually repel, we simply take a pen and write about whether we really want to eat this food choice, or not.

The 4 questions to ask are: Am I hungry? Is this what I feel like eating? Is this what I feel like eating now? Is there something else I could eat instead? (Like a piece of fruit!)

Eating too much food or bad food or too much sugar or fried foods stymies the creative process.

The Morning Pages are truly a tool to becoming conscious about much more that your food choices. Simply awake one hour than you normally do and write 3 pages longhand in a 10.5 by 8 size notebook. After a few days of doing these pages, your mind opens up to receive beautiful and amazing ideas about what you want your life to be, and suddenly you know  that all of your dreams are possible.

I have loved Julia Cameron from the moment I discovered her in 1993, and started haltingly to do the Morning Pages, which I do off and on to this day.

I’ve read nearly all of her books, although never saw her plays.

I also enjoyed “Floor Sample” by Julia Cameron, her creative memoir. The book gave great insight into the creative process, and how important it is to first of all take care of yourself during periods of great creative insight.

I began to worry about Julia as I continued to read the book. I began to worry about all of us who are firmly rooted on this path of listening to our inner world as we recognize that the outer is a mirror of the inner. As I read, I began to see that there is a fine line between insanity and genius.

I loved the book and know Julia Cameron more thoroughly now than ever before. The fact that she is like all of us who falter and sometimes fall on the Road Less Traveled, helped me and I suppose all of us who read the book, know that she is certainly creative, and by no means perfect, just like the rest of us.

This “creative memoir” stays strictly with the facts, according to Cameron in an interview I recently read. She says she took no artistic liberties in writing the book. She boldly confronts her life and freely tells us exactly what it was like for her to become a sober, recovering alcoholic, to raise her daughter as a single mother, and to suffer through two divorces, one to film maker/director Martin Scorcese.

Writing the book was was obviously a catharsis for her as it is a catharsis for those who read the book.

Years ago, I made a poster of the five step creative process and hung it up near my writing desk.

I can still see the poster, long gone, but still in my mind’s eye. The five steps include Preparation, where the creative yearning begins.

The second is Incubation, when symbols formulate in our mental reasoning.

The third is Illumination or Inspiration, when we allow our minds to transcend reasoning and merge with the unknown in periods of contemplation.

Through this process, a new vantage point is discovered.

Creative Inspiration is then converted back into symbols that we verify in the Confirmation stage.

Finally, the product of our creation is formed and manifests in the world of the senses and is validated by synchronicity, dreams, and through the act of inspiring other people.

This is called the Validation stage.

Much of “Floor Sample” describes the Cameron style of creativity. For the most part, she writes her Morning Pages every morning, then continues to create what she is working on whether a book, opera or musical.

Her writing seems to come easiest for her probably because she has always seen herself as primarily a writer. She weaves her writing projects into everyday life. She takes long walks, as a writer before her time also recommended, Brenda Ueland. In “The Writing Diet,” Julia recommends long walks, preferably every day, to aid the creative process.

And the artist date is done weekly, or more often whereby a visit to a museum or zoo or planetarium is ventured as a means of filling the well and preventing depletion of the free flow of inspiration.

She works on many projects at one time. She collaborates with other artists.

The five steps of the Creative Process is an integral part of her life.

I wonder if she would add to or define the Creative Process differently?

I wonder if it is necessary to define it?

It occurs to me that the act of defining this amazing process also limits it.

By using the stages of the creative process, we are attempting to map virgin wooded territory where old growth forests of old wise tree beings are ready to gently guide our psyche.

I believe Julia Cameron would say that Morning Pages, artist dates and long walks are the catalyst for great creative insight.

Preparation, incubation, illumination, confirmation and validation are nurtured through the Cameron creativity tools.

These steps were defined in 1928 by Grahm Wallas. I remember when I was first introduced to the steps and made the poster, I wondered how the heck I was supposed to jump right in and apply these to my own creative impulses. I remember asking the great creator this question and as time enfolded, I discovered Natalie Goldburg, then Julia Cameron.

Rather than read about creativity or think of all the abstractions surrounding it, I did what they instructed and like a toddler first learning to walk, began to develop faith in my own abilities.

I realized my own creativity depended on no longer comparing my progress with anyone else.

I realized my own creativity simply rested on picking up the pen and writing upon the clean white page.

Or picking up my violin and playing for an entire afternoon.

And encourage others to find their own path to happy artistic development.

The art of creation is spiritual and it heals. It awakens every cell in the body, and allows a feeling of great connection and joy to expand consciousness.

So I thank Julia Cameron for her extensive body of work. I absolutely know that because of her, I now write boldly and fearlessly!!

And what a beautiful life, because of it!!

Om Peace Amen
